Peel Heritage Complex and Museum Located in downtown Brampton, 2 blocks south of Queen Street off Main Street (Highway 10) A concurrent show will be on display in which the community is invited to participate. "wsh u wr hr" or "Wish you were here" examines the new face of the postcard, as most people prefer to send virtual images and messages from their cell phone while on vacation. The exhibition will investigate the content and the meaning of the virtual postcard. This exhibition presents a selection of photographic works that examine isolated landscapes and interiors spaces to explore presence through absence and question the definition of being. Susan Williamson is a Brampton-based artist who has exhibited throughout the GTA, and whose “artist trading cards” have been exchanged around the world. Through collage and assemblage, Susan transforms images and found objects and creates new environments for them.
